Ensuring R Generates the Same ANOVA F-values as SPSS — Stats Can Be Fun: “Learning Statistics Using R”

This is a useful post on how to select error terms in R to ensure that the F-values match what SPSS produces – by doing this, it also alerts you to what SPSS is doing “under the hood” and allows you to think through whether that’s what you want it to be doing (which is perhaps beyond what I want to do!)
