    These are some of the journals that are relevant to my research and I will be be aiming to publish in in the future. Majority of them may not be relevant to the group as whole but are where many of the researchers in my area are publishing;

    Some more info on some of the above journals, for those looking to publish –

    • Computers in Human Behaviour
    – The article should consist of clearly defined and numbered sections. Subsections should be numbered 1.1 (then 1.1.1, 1.1.2, …), 1.2, etc. (the abstract is not included in section numbering).
    – The abstract should not be longer than 200 words
    – Word count – ?
    – Impact factor = 2.06

    • CyberPsychology, behaviour and social networking
    – Original research articles should be a maximum of 3000 words excluding the references and tables. Reviews should be a maximum of 4000 words excluding the references and tables. Rapid Communications should be a maximum of 2000 words.
    – Abstract should not be more than 250 words.
    – Manuscripts must be double spaced.

    • Psychology of Popular Media Culture
    – Title is no more than 12 words
    – Abstract should be a maximum of 250 words typed on a separate page. After the abstract, please supply up to five keywords or brief phrases.
    – Word count – ?

    • Journal of Computer-Mediated Communication
    – Full-length article submissions should be roughly 7,000-9,500 words.
    – Journal occasionally publishes Research Briefs (1,500-3,500 words) that focus on a single research finding or issue.
    – Title limited to 50 words.
    – Abstract limited to 200 words.

    • New Media and Society
    – Abstract no more than 150 words.
    – Must have up to 10 key words.
    – Target total length is 8,000 words

    • Media Psychology
    – Abstract no more than 200 words.
    – Article no longer than 25 pages of text (approx. 8,000 words), with additional materials being no more than 10 extra pages.

    • International Journal of Human Computer Interaction
    – Abstract of 150 words.
    – Three to six key words.
    – Word count – ?

    • Individual Differences Research
    – Articles should be no more than 20 pages in length (including title page, abstract, references, figures, tables, etc.
