As the lab website evolves and more people start generating content, we can come to a consensus about how the site should be laid out. Although I prefer the visual layout of the theme we started with, I only just noticed that it did not include the author of the post and I can’t find a way of editing the theme at this level.
So I’ve changed the theme to one that makes the author of the post visible, and we can decide on colours and background image at a later date.
We might also find that we generate a series of articles that work better as static pages and the blog might become a sidebar rather than the main feature. We can also establish forums (a discussion board) for discussion of things like themes, layouts, tags and categories.
